These are the organizations that are currently part of Fee Assist. This list does not ensure that the organizations will definitely provide subsidies to all Fee Assist participants; other factors within each organization may still apply.

Corporation of the Township of Wilmot

Financial assistance is available for local children under the age of 14, who wish to participate in Township of Wilmot programs but may not have the financial means to do so. Eligible participants receive assistance in the form of credit towards Township Recreation and Cultural Programs and affiliated minor sports and arts programs.

General guidelines for getting support: To qualify for assistance the applicant must be under 14 years of age (proof of age required) and have been a resident of the municipality for a period of not less than six (6) months. Only programs offered in the Township of Wilmot will be eligible for assistance or subsidy. •Participants will be limited to two (2) activities per calendar year and a maximum of $150.00 per participant per calendar year. The maximum amount available per family will be $300.00 in one calendar year.

The City of Waterloo offers a variety of recreation and leisure programs throughout the year for all ages, activity levels and interests including affiliated minor sports and arts/culture programs.

General guidelines for getting support: The City of Waterloo’s Fee Assistance Program receives additional funding from other community partners to help financially support children in recreational programs. In order for the program to receive funding, the sharing of basic information is required i.e child’s name, gender, age, and activity. Funding providers include Canadian Tire Foundation for Families Jumpstart Program and Waterloo Minor Hockey. Waterloo Residents wanting to register for Waterloo programs: Once you receive an email notifying you that your account has been verified, you must contact us at 519-747-8512 or email at lynn.dicksegley@waterloo.ca to set up your subsidy accounts before you can register for programs. Please note that additional documents may be required.

Wilmot Family Resource Centre is a non profit charitable organization founded in 1980. Our mission is to provide programs of excellence to improve the quality of life of the people of Wilmot and the town of Wellesley. Our mission is to promote the enrichment and well-being of all families and individuals by providing social, educational, and recreational programs.

That's why the YMCA makes fee assisted memberships available.

General guidelines for getting support: **FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR 2018. WE HAVE MAXED OUT OUR BUDGET FOR 2018. WE WILL RESUME WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN 2019. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING.** The YMCAs of Cambridge & Kitchener-Waterloo applies for funds annually to support fee assisted memberships through organizations like Canadian Tire Jumpstart. Occasionally applications require the sharing of basic member information in order to qualify. Information is maintained in the highest confidence and only used to verify assistance provided. YMCA Camping Services offer fee assistance for the Blue, Orange, and Pink subsidy levels. Please contact us for more information about programs and services available for you.
